In case some aren’t sure even after reading its description, yes, All the snacks in these boxes seem to be from other Sakuraco boxes that weren’t sold, but are indeed „rescued“ snacks nonetheless. I got mainly snacks from the past 4 or so months of Sakuraco boxes. Mine were on average 10-15 days past the BBD, but tasted just fine. You can notice a slight freshness difference on mochi‘s and Daifuku, but you need to be actively tasting for a difference. I do wish I didn’t get 4 of the same thing, that was disappointing and is what knocked a star off. Once again though, you are actually getting snacks near or bast their Best Buy Date. I recommend this box if you want another tasting between the subscription boxes, but I personally would go for TokyoTreat‘s version. That way, you would get different snacks rather than the likely repeats from the former.

I adore the snack rescue box. It’s a great idea to avoid food waste and also an absolute treat to get a mystery box of snacks. It came packed full of great snacks with ample variety, and I plan on reordering regularly because it’s just so irresistible.
