The teapot, crafted in the renowned Tokoname style, is celebrated for its fine clay that gently absorbs tannins, softening the astringency of tea to create a mellow, rounded flavor. Its wide interior allows leaves to unfurl fully, drawing out the tea’s natural depth and fragrance—ideal for Japanese green teas as well as oolong, jasmine, or lightly scented black teas.

The complementing teacups are adorned with hand-painted vertical lines inspired by tokusa, or horsetail grass.
