The teapot came perfectly packaged with the other two cups I ordered. It’s quite small, a good size for one or two people to share, but the make and glaze is perfect. A very beautiful piece of Japan.
The teapot is small by western standards, but good for loose leaf tea. The ceramic white pot is smooth with a pretty Sakura decorated soft pink lid, inside is a removable filter basket of fine stainless steel mesh you’ll need to time your steeps because you can’t see the color of the tea through the porcelain. The spout is high on the pot and short, there is a natural bamboo handle atop the pot I think there’s enough capacity for two small cups of tea.
