Sakuraco Shareable Snack Rescue Box

This is my second rescue box, and still very much worth it. I was particularly thrilled with the items in this box as over half the products were sakura-themed, a flavour I've wanted to try for ages but just cannot get locally. And yes, it's as good as advertised! In most cases there were 2 of each item, but I got 4 tea bags this time and a pack of 8 strawberry waffle cookies, so plenty to enjoy (and maybe share). It always amazes me how much the Sakuraco team can pack into a fairly small box. As ever the rescue boxes do not include tableware items or a booklet (if you have allergy concerns be aware that not every item has nutritional/allergy info on it), but if you simply want a taste of Japan and don't mind being surprised, this box is a brilliant option.

In case some aren’t sure even after reading its description, yes, All the snacks in these boxes seem to be from other Sakuraco boxes that weren’t sold, but are indeed „rescued“ snacks nonetheless. I got mainly snacks from the past 4 or so months of Sakuraco boxes. Mine were on average 10-15 days past the BBD, but tasted just fine. You can notice a slight freshness difference on mochi‘s and Daifuku, but you need to be actively tasting for a difference. I do wish I didn’t get 4 of the same thing, that was disappointing and is what knocked a star off. Once again though, you are actually getting snacks near or bast their Best Buy Date. I recommend this box if you want another tasting between the subscription boxes, but I personally would go for TokyoTreat‘s version. That way, you would get different snacks rather than the likely repeats from the former.

I am giving this as a birthday present and so I dont know if the recipient will like it.But I'm pretty sure they will! I have loved everything I ever bought for myself from this brand

Some nice snacks,a great taste of Japan,was a little repetitive snacks between the two boxes, but was ok,and still very fresh to eat,recommended highly.

We love the range or treats in the box.
The design of the box and the way it is all beautifully put together and that it's saving them from becoming potential landfill!

I ordered sakuraco for my partner's birthday, a small journey before our holidays in Japan next year.
I really like how beautifully organized the box is, all explained in a small book. Just it could be nice if every box has a different colour with the theme of that month.

LOVE the verity of all the snacks I got.

We loved the variety and beautiful way it was packed. We had actually planned a trip to Japan but had to cancel. So this was a nice way to get excited and be able to still try some snacks and cheer us up. I specifically got it as an anniversary gift for my husband and he loved it!! Definitely recommend.

The contents are always a surprise and normally with several of my favourite snacks. I keep buying these!

The variety of snacks is great

I got an amazing mix of sweet and savory snacks. Bonus there was matcha powder sticks in there, I really like matcha.

This box is fantastic to share a tasting experience with a loved one! Everything still tasted totally fresh and delicious! Loved it!

The snacks were really good, a nice variety and fairly priced.

Some of my favorite items from past boxes were in the rescue box and just as delicious. I love the sweet potato pies and the cinnamon wafers.

First time order from JapanHaul after being a Sakuraco monthly box subscriber for about a year. I love the chance to order more of the treats I loved from my Sakuraco boxes and try new things, too. I chose more senbei, delicious tea, some traditional Japanese goods, and this fantastic shareable Snack Rescue box that lets me introduce friends to an amazing assortment of treats. The Snack Rescue box has so many unexpected surprises tucked inside!

It's my first time taking a box and honestly, did not know what to expect but when it came, I found some snacks that I already knew about and loved but couldn't afford them individually! I'm really happy about that!Got to discover some snacks I had never seen before as well, so far, not disappointed at all!My only disappointment is that there isn't a sheet of what the snacks are, like a usual Sakuraco box, so I don't know what the new snacks are...Would buy again if I can though!

I loved everything aboiyt this crate

This box is like a surprise box because you do not know what snacks you will get. I shared my box with my sisters and each of us got something they liked. I liked the peach mochi and the grapes biscuits. My sisters really liked the sweet potato treats. But for the most part we did not even knew what we were eating because there were no hand book to explain, but that was the fun part. My conclusion is it is worth it if you like surprises but I did not get why the shipping price was so high.

Love everything about this box. Looking forward to placing my next order.

I adore the snack rescue box. It’s a great idea to avoid food waste and also an absolute treat to get a mystery box of snacks. It came packed full of great snacks with ample variety, and I plan on reordering regularly because it’s just so irresistible.

I love the idea of keeping snacks from ending up in the waste bin! Thank you for creating these leftover snack boxes. Everything was still fresh and delicious.

I got lucky with this box, as we got Castella cakes, tea, and a whole lot of other snacks. Highly recommend this box, get it while you still can!
