In case some aren’t sure even after reading its description, yes, All the snacks in these boxes seem to be from other Sakuraco boxes that weren’t sold, but are indeed „rescued“ snacks nonetheless. I got mainly snacks from the past 4 or so months of Sakuraco boxes. Mine were on average 10-15 days past the BBD, but tasted just fine. You can notice a slight freshness difference on mochi‘s and Daifuku, but you need to be actively tasting for a difference. I do wish I didn’t get 4 of the same thing, that was disappointing and is what knocked a star off. Once again though, you are actually getting snacks near or bast their Best Buy Date. I recommend this box if you want another tasting between the subscription boxes, but I personally would go for TokyoTreat‘s version. That way, you would get different snacks rather than the likely repeats from the former.
Snacks are really good and love the assortment. The only draw back is I can go through the box in 3 days . Ban,ai!!!.. I really like the rescue boxes since for a great cause ... saving snacks... As for the photo, we all know what an empty box looks like so not needed.
The box is full of little delicious treats that bring back memories from japan!
So many tasty treats, I am impressed. Looking forward to enjoying them all.
